Well well well (three holes in the ground). That's pretty much what this toilet was. Two holes actually but that's just semantics. Set in the beautifully scenic dead end community of Elaine Bay in New Zealand's Marlborough Sounds, this public bog isn't much for comfort but it does the job. Consisting of two unisex stalls just a little bit removed from Elaine Bay's little camping ground, it serves its function if just barely. Here in NZ, we call this particular little beauty a long drop which is just another way of saying it's a slightly toiletified hole in the ground. I will give it to Elaine Bay though; they've managed to keep the long drop experience as retch-free as possible; the airing here was pretty good and, although it did smell a bit (not surprisingly since it's literally a pile of shit in a hole), it was about as good as can be expected the ass end (pun intended) of public toilets. You're fine with toilet paper for this one but I would recommend bringing your own soap.

If you're looking for a relatively secluded holiday destination with a decent shitter, look no further than Elaine Bay!

Happy crapping!
