This book stop shop was naturally an old favourite of mine. Page & Blackmore has been the local in my area (Nelson, New Zealand) for as long as I can remember and used to be the only store dedicated solely to books. A couple more have popped up over the years but Page & Blackmore remains a Sunny City Staple. After a little digging, I've discovered that Page & Blackmore is the result of an amalgamation between two bookstores that were local relics; Pages Bookstore and Blackmore Booksellers. From that came the resulting name and a Nelson City favourite.

Page & Blackmore was a place that I went throughout my childhood and into my teens and, coming back, it was great to get to peruse the shelves once more. It definitely feels like a bookshop that's for sure. Selection wise, they've got just about anything you could won't from a small town bookshelf; that is to say they have all the stock standards but if you're looking for something out of the ordinary you're going to have to order it in. Worry not because this is a service they provide to; just ask at the counter and they'll happily put in the order for you.

They also have a good website where you can search through their selection and check out when their next book club meeting will be. All in all, a good book experience.

Check out their website here and take a trip to Trafalgar Street to check out this literary gem!
