And, for the final bit of mileage from Wellington, we have the Te Papa Level 2 Store! Strictly speaking, this isn't solely a bookstore but, as it's predominantly books, I'm going to class it as one.

If you're looking for books about New Zealand, this is definitely one of the places to go. Featuring everything from a book of Gottfried Lindauer's Maori portraits to a cute little kids science books, this quaint wee store will have something for anyone with a curious mind and an interest in New Zealand. In particular though, this store has been set up in conjunction with the current collaborative exhibition that Te Papa and well-acclaimed Weta Workshop have set up; the Great War Exhibition. If you go through this harrowingly informative exhibition, you will emerge in the Level 2 bookstore and find yourself surrounded by books on the subject that you just explored.

They also have a coffee shop up the little ramp! So once you've got your book on Gallipoli you can wander on up and peruse it over a nice cup of coffee. Really Te Papa has got it right!

If you want to check out this store along with the rest of Te Papa's cafes and shops, then go to their website here. Even if books aren't really your thing, Te Papa is well worth a look being our national museum and all.

And finally if you haven't done so yet and you like what I'm doing here, give my page a like on Facebook!

Happy reading!
