We're back at toilets but I promise I have two more book stores queued up and ready to go! So Wellington Airport! If you didn't know, Wellington is the capital city of my fine country (no, I promise you I lived here for eighteen years and I can assure you it's not Auckland; that's just offensive). Wellington Airport is a lovely little international number that in itself is a tourist attraction. I have to admit, I'm bitterly disappointed that they got rid of the trolls in the New Zealand gift shop but you can still see a larger-than-life version of Smaug's head or glance up to see Gandalf bearing down on you, riding a giant eagle. The place is the Lothlórien of airports. Unsurprising really as Wellington is home of the world-renowned Weta Workshop. If you do happen to pass through Wellington Airport, Weta Workshop is just a hop and a skip away in Miramar so I would highly recommend going there.

But I'm not a tourist attraction blog; not your usual kind anyway, so let's talk toilets! Wellington Airport (like most international airports hopefully) has a smorgasbord of toilets so that you should have a more than adequate selection of W.C.s. I couldn't do all of them as it would've looked a bit weird so I picked one of the upstairs ones. If you go down to where the trolls used to be (yes, I'm still upset about it) and walk back towards where you got off the plane, it'll be the first toilet you encounter.

My mother's interior design hobby has obviously rubbed off on me a bit because I was loving what they'd done with the decor here. They used different hues of blue to give it a kind of watery feel and the careful placement of mirrors along with an overall white finish makes the whole place seem huge despite the fact it only had approximately twelve stalls. They smelt a little but it was mid afternoon so that's thoroughly unsurprising considering the traffic. You can expect all the usual amenities from these bogs so overall I would definitely recommend. You go, Wellington Airport!

As a final note, if you haven't yet be sure to like me on Facebook! I also have an Instagram and a Tumblr so you can follow me on those too to make sure that you know all the best rest stops and book shops for your travels! And if you have any questions or concerns feel free to email me at theliterarycrap@gmail.com.

Happy crapping!
