Hello Crappers!

Welcome to Granity, New Zealand, home of...well not much really. With a population of 216*, it's not really surprising that Granity is a bit light on the hustle and bustle. There are places to stay there though if it takes your fancy and it's a hop, skip and a jump from both Karamea and Westport which are both worth a look if you've never been. Granity is small but quite endearing. Another relic of New Zealand's mining heritage, it's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it kind of town and the same goes for the public toilet.

We almost didn't see the sign. Dad was careening down the road and this little outlet is near the end of the really populated part of town. There's a sign but it's easy to miss. If you keep a look out for the community library though, you'll end up right across the road.

Honestly, this toilet was well worth the stop. It is a single stall gig so, if there's more than one of you in the car that's busting, there's going to be a bit of a tussle. Whether you have to wait or not though, this one is worth it.

God bless those good folk who service the public toilets in little drive-by towns like Granity. This bog smelt good, looked good and had all the trimmings; accessibility, gender inclusivity, flushing loo, sink, and locking door. It truly was a wonderful experience and you can't often say that about a toilet now can you?

Give Granity a bit of love if you're going through there because their toilet is being tended beautiful and it's well worth the stop!

Happy crapping!
